I Can't Sleep

I have been lying in bed tossing and turning for the past two hours. Anyone who truly knows me is highly aware of what a rock I am when it comes to slumber, so it is beyond rare when I am unable to sleep until there just aint no more sleep to be had. 

I got up and drank some water. Returned to the kitchen for some soy milk. Went back for some toast and peanut butter (sorry Katie, both the bread and spread is yours - i totally owe you). I contemplated watching some tivo but that didnt seem satisfactory. I really just want to go to bed!! I came in at 130 and awoke at 430 - not enough!!! Read? Yoga? NO...i just want to sleep. 

Soon i found myself blackberry harassing people. Trying to wake up the world so someone can suffer with me...needless to say I have a lot of unreturned messages right now. Obviously this is what I have come up with, which isnt bad considering i rarely WRITE something on here...interesting or not. Napalm Death greeted me when i opened up the Mac...as you can see, its not a good morning! I switched to The Klaxons for a more soothing approach.

My alarm just started going off. Today will be the only day in 2008 that I dont sleep straight through it for the next 3 hours until it gives up and turns itself off. Today I will show up to work "on time" aka before the 10am hour. I am thinking that I will go into the office crazy early, do some horrid and much needed filing, and take off early as my reward    xoxoxo Tired

I went down on my bicycle (yes, i was sober)and have a collection of scabs, scrapes, bruises and booboo's to show for it. I am surprised how quickly they are healing up though, thanks to my rigorous regimen of vitamin E oil and neosporin. They still hurt like a muthaf'r tho.

GAS PRICES RISE TO NEW NATIONAL RECORD: The cost of filling up the family car jumped to a record high Tuesday, adding to the challenges consumers already face with falling home values and rising food prices. Gas prices at the pump rose overnight to a record national average of $3.2272 a gallon, according to AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. That's a tad higher than the previous record of $3.2265, set last May.
